Hey y'all cool caffeinated coffee drinkers! Sarenna here and I just wanted to share from a recent road trip that I took, a couple of my favorite coffee drinks that I had along the way. So sit back and enjoy this ride we are about to embark on.
Our road trip starts in California, we left on a Thursday evening and drove through the Los Angeles area to get to the I-10 and that is where our story will continue to stay. The long ass stretch of the I-10 that gets you from California to Louisiana, is actually quite boring, so I let my husband take the first stretch. I slept and next thing you know, I wake up and it's about 10am and we are getting into El Paso, Texas. Amazing, right?! Wrong! El Paso is crazy crowded and just not my place, so I wanted to get out of there and back on the road asap! Honestly though, I'm sure El Paso is a beautiful place, but after sleeping in a truck with 3 children who are early risers, is not fun. Thank God for noise cancelling headphones, those helped a ton. But what about the coffee Sarenna, you may ask, don't worry I'm getting there. So husband wanted Whataburger for breakfast, because we are from California and we don't have that here, so we stopped, ate breakfast and then it was my turn to take the next stretch of driving! Yay! So I go into the back of the truck and grab from the cooler a nice cold basic as can be Starbucks Vanilla coffee drink. I don't even know what it's called, because I actually did not care at the time, I just wanted coffee. Y'all feel me on that, right? It's not just me, right?? Anyway, so bladders are relieved, bellies are full, kids are content and happy and husband is getting settled in to take a nice long nap. I am somewhat happy with my coffee drink and water, because proper hydration is still important (this is your friendly reminder to go drink some water you cool caffeinated drinkers), music is going and here we go, on the road again! I get about 4 or so hours in and had to make a stop to use the restroom and get some lunch. Still feeling good and we continue on. Get about another 4 or so hours in and another stop and time for dinner. And of course time for another coffee at this point. I have no idea where we are at this point in the story, because I don't remember all the town names. After dinner, I head to the back of the cooler again, only find that my oh so loving husband has been keeping a terrible secret from me and does not in fact love me, like I thought he did! Rude, right? He let me drink the crappy Starbucks Vanilla drink when he had these bad boys stored in there the whole time...
Now I don't know if y'all have had these before, but let me enlighten you a bit. La Colombe Coffee is one of the best tasting cold brew coffee drinks I have ever tasted in my life. My life. I am 35 years old and I am so happy that my lips and mouth have tasted literal heaven. They are a foamy nitrous-infused milk coffee cold brew and yes I took that description right from the can, because don't fix it if it ain't broke and also, that is what it is! So you may ask, but do you get all the foam in your mouth Sarenna, and my answer to you is, no, no you do not and let me show you why, because this company is genius!
That little plastic piece helps to hold back all the foam. Genius I tell you. It allows you to get all the coffee drink and little foam, but the foam is not bad either. It's all very tasty. Let me tell you, this and one other cold brew coffee drink got my through the rest of my trip there and back. I have tasted all the flavors in the above picture and they are all amazing. So smooth and full of flavor without any bitterness or tasting overly sweet. Now I have one more flavor to share with you before we move on and this one, this one was my holy grail from this brand. Also, just as a little tidbit, this blog is not sponsored in any way, these are all my own thoughts and opinions, mmkay.
Now this one, this one right here made my mouth the happiest! I mean who doesn't love a good caramel drink? And if you don't well, you do you boo boo! Also, this one is different from the others that I showed you, as you can see from the description on the can and if you can't I gotchu, don't worry. It says, cold-pressed espresso frothed milk + real caramel. Everything about this drink was absolutely divine. It was also the perfect pick me up that I needed when I needed it most. It also has the same little plastic thing on it too to keep the frothed milk from getting all up in your mouth. I highly suggest stopping by your local gas station or grocery store to see if they carry this band and if they do, try one, or all of them. And let them know that Sarenna sent you, actually don't because people have no idea who I am...yet.
I do actually have one more cold brew coffee I would like to share with y'all, but I think I'm going to make this a two parter, because why not, it's my blog and I do what I want. Kidding, I just feel I need to give y'all a moment to take this in. It's ok, I did too.
